Astrophysics - This site has Astrophysics and Astronomy for Kids young and old. A little something everyone will enjoy.

Mr. Hazzard - Mr. Hazzard and his grade four class have created this excellent site.  Take a look at the PowerPoint presentations and interactive quizzes.  It makes me wish I had Mr. Hazzard in grade four.

Concussion Safety - An excellent resource for physical education safety, especially in sports. It contains information about preventing, recognizing and treating concussions, particularly those caused during sports.

SpiderHog - A directory and search engine for education and parenting related sites. Includes a neat top sites section and cool tools.

Kim's Korner for Teacher Talk - This teacher created site offers  educators many ideas and activities for teaching writing, reading,  and literature.  We really enjoyed the fact that this site was  not a site with lists of links to sites with lists of links.

Snow Rogers Elementary School - This site is dedicated to supplying  interesting, educational, and 'fun while you learn' things to do on  the internet for our children, community, school, and all web  interested individuals.

Illuminations - An Interactive internet based lesson archive from NCTM, including a searchable index of NCTM standards and principles.  Great for all grades.

Calmont School - This Californian School has a very well organized
site. We all agreed that the real winners are the students in grade 
six and seven who created their own web pages.

The Water Rocket Index - Water Rockets for education or hobby for all ages. Just for fun or up to PhD fluid dynamics. Parachutes, aerial photography, launchers, even a screensaver. Computer Model and HTML help in four different languages for free download. 

Vanished Soul Quest - The visitor plays the role of a detective who has to find someone who disappeared 300 years ago. 

On Ramp to the Information Highway - A collection of educational Web sites,  a University Web based course for teachers to learn about the Internet and the Web, for use in their classrooms.

Source For Physical Educators - Physical Education Resources Skills and Drills for a variety of sports and activities.

Classroom Pets - This site gives you some positive input and helpful ideas about animals in the classroom.

Teachers Zone - provides a wealth of information to teachers, parents and students in grades K-12.  Their motto "We'll search the web to bring you the best!"

The QuizQueen - This web site provides fun, entertainment, and  educational value.

TeachEasy - This site is of special interest to Ontario teachers.  It provides free sample activities, a weekly smile, quote and a  useful field trip planner. You can also find special deals from their sponsors.

Dave's Faves Browser & Media Player Update Center - A website  providing students and instructors with information and links to  current internet browsers (including those for persons with special  physical needs).

School Assemblies for Busy Teachers - A site where teachers  can find and download assembly ideas and scripts. This site has  given us lots of great ideas.

GEC Computers in the Classroom - We all agreed this site provides great links, original resources, useful tips and is a user friendly web site for integrating computeer technology into the classroom. While you are there don't forget to take Grover for a spin. (You will see what we mean.) 

A Gadzillion Things To Think About - This site has a large collection of creative thinking exercises and an excellent resource for newsletter tidbits.

Play Kids' Games - On-line kids games featuring alphabet games and math games.  Also includes logic games and coloring game.  Designed by a parent for kids and parents to learn and have fun together.
