Heritage Week 2006 Planning Kits Available

Heritage Week 2006 planning kits are now available from the Culture and Sport Secretariat.

Intergovernmental and International Relations Minister Percy Mockler, minister responsible for the Culture and Sport Secretariat, made the announcement today.

The planning kits are a resource for heritage groups, communities, schools, access centres and libraries to participate in the activities that take place throughout the province during Heritage Week 2006 to recognize New Brunswick’s diverse heritage.

The theme of Heritage Week 2006, which runs Feb. 13-20, 2006, is “Celebrating our Natural Landscape – Célébrons nos paysage naturels!”

“It’s time to start planning now for Heritage Week 2006,” Mockler said. “New Brunswick is a national leader in celebrating Heritage Week. Let’s work to celebrate our natural landscape by taking part in Heritage Week activities.”

  1. Dear Sir/Madam:
I am a student at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) and was wondering if it would be possible to have a heritage week planning kit cent to me.
    Thank you,
