Quentin DSouzaAfter spending a few years in the trenches as an elementary school teacher I recently changed positions to Elementary Resource Teacher for Academic Communication and Information Technology at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. It basically means I’m a computer geek.

In the classroom, I liked to consider myself an early implementer of the latest that technology had to offer me. A few examples are collaborative projects, online reporting, asynchronous discussions, elearning using both a blended and fully online model, and webquests.

Some of my past experiences with web design, cgi script installation as well as coding in html, actionscript, javascript, and php give me technical knowledge.

My academic experience includes a Masters in Education from York University and CompTIA A+ certification. I was also nominated for The Learning Partnerships Technology Innovation Award in 2004.
